Tip accused couple sold drugs to other employees

ELSA – The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department’s Narcotics Unit raided a home in Elsa acting on tips.

Investigators say they had received information Luis and Hilda Segura were selling cocaine to Edcouch-Elsa I.S.D. employees.

The couple works for the district.

Inside the couple’s home, deputies found 14 grams of cocaine, packaged and ready to sell.

Sheriff Lupe Trevino tells NEWSCHANNEL 5 they are now looking into the possibility the Seguras may have been selling to students.
